Little was detailed about Mach-I's life before the zombie plague arrived on Earth-2149, however it can be presumed to have followed much the same path as his Earth-616 counterpart.
A zombified Mach-I attacked Thor and later Nova alongside the Thunderbolts. He was quickly killed by a blast of flame from the Human Torch when he tried to bite Nova.
