War shared a similar history to his Earth-616 counterpart up until Archangel became the Horseman of Death and failed to rebel against his master. When X Factor went to capture the Marauders as part of their murder investigation, the Horseman of Apocalypse also arrived and War killed Harpoon. War was then soon killed by Archangel for being weak.
