Warlock was one of the heroes who appeared on the cover of the Strange Tales comic. He hosted auditions for participants in his upcoming Infinity Crusade alongside Thanos. The Silver Surfer arrived when they were auditioning the minor heroes and "Mr Perot" (presumably Ross Perot) purchased the identity of the Texas Twister and attempted to audition.[
