Adil Murad

Adil Murad (born 1974) is a Pakistani film producer and actor in films, Television serials and tele-films, and son of Pakistani actor Waheed Murad. He was introduced in the Pakistani Urdu colour film Raja sahib in 1996, but the film, due to bad direction and a weak story, flopped at the box office. Since then, he has been working in tele-films as an actor and as producer. He has been cast by Shoaib Mansoor in his tele-film Streets of Karachi, which is based on the life of a couple in Karachi and the ups and downs of the city. Recently ARY Film Awards 2016 gave appreciation award to his father Waheed Murad for his inspirational work in film industry which has been received by him.

Acting comes naturally to Adil Murad. Born to a star father Waheed Murad (late), Adil has been a part of glitz and glamour since he was a child. He worked in two films as a child star and one in his teens. However, he professionally started acting in 2005. He was first introduced to television by Sania Saeed and Shahid Shafaat. “I was lucky to play the lead opposite Sania Saeed in my first T.V play,” says Adil. Gradually he was able to impress the audience by his acting skills. His T.V show ‘Lakhon ka Such’ was an instant hit that made him a household name in no time.
