After the Hydra uprising and the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D., General Jacobs and Admiral Jolnes met with the representatives of Cybertek Corporation Ian Quinn, who offered to sell to the United States Government their Centipede-enhanced soldiers. However, Jacobs got into an argument with John Garrett, who ended up violently killing him. Jolnes was then taken prisoner, but was saved by Phil Coulson and his team.
