Vulture presumably shared a similar history to his Prime Marvel Universe counterpart. Early in Spider-Man's career, he was confronted by him and Spider-Man defeated him and took photos of the event to run in Peter's newspaper the Reveille. Later he was one of the several supervillians who wanted to claim the one million dollar placed on Spider-Man. He was defeated by J. Jonah Jameson and his altered Spider Slayer suit.
