Agamotto (Earth-12041)
Many millennia ago, Agamotto was initially tutored by Oshtur and served as the Earth's first Sorcerer Supreme. He defended it and its reality against such threats as Dormammu, but his hunger for the power and knowledge of the unknown had no end, thus becoming corrupted and evil. Therefore he was banished, but not before his powers were transferred into his right eye, which was removed and turned into the amulet known as the Eye of Agamotto.
