Agent Hauer (Earth-199999)

Agent Hauer is one of the Hydra agents embedded within S.H.I.E.L.D. In 1989, Hydra scientist Dr. Werner Reinhardt was secretly given a pardon by Undersecretary Alexander Pierce, himself a Hydra operative, and agents Hauer and Rivera were sent to the facility known as "the Rat" to retrieve him. The two agents then took Dr. Reinhardt back to Austria to resume his studies.

Agent Hauer is portrayed by Lou Ferrigno, Jr. in the Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episode "The Things We Bury." Lou Ferrigno, Jr. is the son of Lou Ferrigno, who is famous for portraying the Hulk in the television series The Incredible Hulk, as well as in spin-off films, voicing the Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films The Incredible Hulk, Marvel's The Avengers, and Avengers: Age of Ultron, and made a cameo appearance in the 2003 movie Hulk.
