Agent Piper is an agent of the reformed S.H.I.E.L.D., serving under Director Phil Coulson and his successor. She participated in a failed raid on a town in Wyoming run by the Inhuman Hive. She survived an attack on the Playground by Hive and his Primitive Inhumans, and was later one of many S.H.I.E.L.D. agents personally trained under Melinda May.
