Agent Antoine Triplett took Agent Shade hostage when Hand tested his and Jemma Simmons loyalty by asking them to swear their allegiance to Hydra, which was enough evidence for Hand to put her trust in the two agents as loyal S.H.I.E.L.D. agents.
Her status following S.H.I.E.L.D.'s dissolution is unknown.
