Akaman was the legitimate king of Nel-Ireso who was deposed and killed by his brother Aculdi while his son, Prince Telmah, was studying in the west. As Aculdi was about to have Telmah executed, Akaman's ghost appeared to him and told him to spare his son otherwise all of them, including Akaman's wife who agreed to become the consort of Aculdi, would have been destroyed, which came true.
