Wolverine shared a similar history to his Earth-616 counter-part where was a member of Norman Orsborn's Dark Avengers who took part in the Seige of Asgard. On this reality however, Norman Osborn possessed a complete Infinity Gauntlet who used it to kill all the heroes present and then reshaped reality and ruled the world with the Wolverine and the rest of the Dark Avengers living a life of luxury. While Norman was showing his father (who he brought from the past) how he conquered the Earth, Thanos arrived to claim the Gauntlet for himself and killed Wolverine.
