Naya Rivera

Naya Rivera was an American actress, voiceover artist, singer, and model who rose to fame by playing lesbian cheerleader Santana Lopez on the Fox television series Glee, a role for which she received multiple accolades including a SAG Award and ALMA Award as well as earning two Grammy Award and one Brit Award nominations. She had also been cast in projects like Family MattersThe Bernie Mac ShowAt the Devil’s DoorDevious MaidsStep Up: High WaterMad FamiliesThe Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and The Master of Disguise.

Naya died on July 8, 2020, at the age of 33 at Lake Piru, Ventura County, California, U.S. She lost her life due to accidental drowning.

During her career, Rivera appeared on the covers of several magazines, including Cosmopolitan, Maxim, Rolling Stone, FHM, Complex, Glow, Prestige, The Hollywood Reporter, Cosmo for Latinas, Latina, Fit Pregnancy and Baby and Galore. She was highly ranked on various magazines' most attractive lists. She made the Maxim Hot 100 list in 2010, 2011, and 2012, and is ranked number 27 in 2012. For two years, in 2011 and 2012, she was ranked number one on AfterEllen.com's "Hot 100" list, ranking at number three in 2013. In 2012 she was selected by People en Español for their 50 Most Beautiful list and was listed on FHM's 100 Sexiest Women list, coming in at number 39. In May 2013, she posed nude in an issue of Allure magazine
