“Avengers 4” is the subtitle commonly used to refer to the fourth Avengers film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The official title of the movie was revealed to be “Avengers: Endgame.” It serves as a direct continuation and conclusion to the events of “Avengers: Infinity War.”
In “Avengers: Endgame,” the remaining Avengers, along with other allies, come together to try and reverse the devastating effects of the “Snap” caused by Thanos in “Avengers: Infinity War,” where half of all life in the universe was wiped out. The film focuses on the remaining Avengers’ mission to retrieve the Infinity Stones and use them to undo the actions of Thanos.
“Avengers: Endgame” was released in 2019 and was directed by Joe and Anthony Russo. It featured an ensemble cast including Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, and many more beloved Marvel characters.
