Mach-1 was a member of the Thunderbolts lead by Hawkeye when Spider-Man visited to collect their bill for newspaper delivery. Upon arrival Mach-1 asked if he could shoot them down, which Hawkeye reminded him heroes don't do, especially when it's Hakweye's friends. He asked the same thing again when they left.
