Aeon was a being of unknown origins entombed apparently by the Mayan civilization centuries ago. He was unearthed by Doc Virtual. Aeon had an interest in objects of power, and recognized the chestpiece being used by pop singer MonaLisa as such an object. He attempted to acquire it, but failed thanks to MonaLisa's Ultra bodyguard, Rush.
